These terms govern your use of medifitclinic.org and the services provided by MediFit Clinic. By completing an assessment, booking a consultation, or becoming a patient you agree to them.

Who we are

MediFit Clinic is a private medical practice operated by Dr. Raythaan Addinall (HPCSA-registered medical practitioner). The clinic is based in Cape Town and operates entirely via secure telehealth.

Nature of the service

We provide medical consultations and may issue prescriptions for GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy where clinically indicated. We do not dispense medication directly. Prescriptions are filled by a SAHPRA-licensed compounding pharmacy with whom we have a referral relationship.

Doctor-patient relationship

A doctor-patient relationship is formed only after a video consultation with Dr. Ray. Completing the eligibility assessment does not constitute medical advice or a prescription. Prescriptions are issued at Dr. Ray's clinical discretion only.

No guarantee of outcomes

Weight loss outcomes vary by individual and depend on adherence, biology, and lifestyle factors. We share realistic expectations during consultation but make no guarantees of specific results.

Fees and refunds

Consultation fees are charged before the consultation takes place and are non-refundable once the consultation has occurred. Medication is billed monthly. You may pause or cancel future shipments at any time; medication already dispatched is non-refundable.

Liability

Our liability is governed by South African medical law and is limited to negligent acts or omissions in the provision of medical care. We are not liable for outcomes arising from non-adherence to prescribed protocols or undisclosed medical history.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Western Cape courts.
